Job description

Who we are:

We are on a mission to empower companies to develop stronger leaders, thriving teams and better business. We bring together world class coaches with a high impact, digital learning platform to enable people to access inspiration and to fuel skills and habits in the flow of work. We imagine a world where any professional will have access to a ‘coach in their pocket’ to help them better navigate career transitions and to be themselves, at their best.

Founded in 2019, our SaaS platform has enabled us to take coaching to leaders and professionals across Europe, the US, AsiaPac and Australia. Our clients are global organisations like HSBC, Costa Coffee, Specsavers and other companies across sectors who are progressive about developing talent, and passionate about bringing a fresh approach to creating high performing work places.

The role:

This is a rare opportunity to join a phenomenal team of people in a mission driven company. This role will lead the the strategy and design of Mindbeat’s solutions and products, ensuring strong alignment with our values of being Impactful, Human and Science-led. You’ll know this role is for you if you are naturally curious and love learning about latest thinking, research and science on leadership, coaching and adult development. Equally, as a customer facing team, you will need to be practical, enjoy working at pace with Sales and Client Success to design high impact solutions that deliver an engaging experience to our community of members, while also moving the needle on business outcomes.

What you’ll be getting up to:

  • Researching, shaping and designing world class, scalable solutions that incorporate great content, and that leverage technology features within our proposition
  • Writing up and shaping white papers and collateral to articulate our solutions and the difference they make to individuals and organisations alike
  • Interface with current and prospective clients to stay close to what our clients need and to also help communicate our solutions and offerings
  • Partner with Sales to support the development of proposals and workshops
  • Partner with Marketing to shape topics and events which bring together clients to understand their leadership and talent priorities, and both inform and communicate Mindbeat’s point of view
  • Work directly with our CEO and Leadership Team to shape our vision for future proposition, connecting product, platform and proposition
  • Design the architecture and content of our core solutions, leveraging our blended coaching format of 1:1, group coaching, AI coaching, assessment and content to deliver innovative, impactful and scalable solutions
  • Shape and drive the design of our data and analytics portal - ensuring that all of our solutions have well thought through measures of success

We’re a playful, curious bunch who care deeply about delivering high quality work and helping our clients develop stronger people and cultures! Given Mindbeat is a scale-up venture, being comfortable with ambiguity and flexing between leading strategy and rolling up your sleeves and ‘doing to doing’ is a must. We are a small team and are often required to wear multiple hats. You should feel comfortable with challenging up, across and down the organisation and taking ownership for your area.

Job requirements

In addition, you'll know the role could be right if:

  • You have a proven track record of outstanding contribution in OD, Change Management or L&D. You have used, bought and deployed blended learning programmes including instructional design
  • You are comfortable being on your feet, with clients, and come across as exceptionally engaging, articulate and impactful. You win influence through a combination of thoughtful subject matter expertise, clear engaging communication skills and commercial savvy
  • You are a team player at heart and thrive in an environment where we are passionate about what we do.
  • You are able to turn ideas, research, vision and direction into collateral using multiple lenses to incorporate design, commerciality and practicality, always considering the needs of the audience.
  • You are well organised and work at pace

Apart from having the opportunity to get in at the early stages of a fast growing scale-up, the role offers opportunities for career development and comes with a competitive compensation package. Our team say the biggest benefit, however, is that of being able to make a difference to people’s careers and lives, to work in a space that feels purposeful, and to have fun along the way!
